Ruby's work is reminiscent of 1700's naturalists, botanists and scientific illustrators. With an emphasis on clean lines, dotwork and the occasional burst of antique color, she specializes in designing unique custom tattoos for each client.
Many of her pieces are inspired by nature, focusing on subject matters such as unique botanical arrangements and whimsical, story-like compositions that include bugs, fruit, vegetables, animals, lady faces, skulls and the like. Ruby also enjoys venturing outside of the natural world, designing pieces that explore astronomy, surrealism and the afterlife. Needless to say, Ruby will always try to include anything creepy, spooky or macabre whenever given the chance.
