Ruby Gore Tattoo Artist Specializing in Vegan and Scar Cover Ups
Survivor Project
Out of the Darkness
Mental health is just as important as physical health, the mind is a muscle that needs working out too and not just today, every day.
In honor of exercising mental health awareness, beginning October 2020, as a part of her Survivor Project: Out of the Darkness, Ruby will hold a monthly raffle offering one free tattoo or scar cover-up to survivors of self-harm, abuse, assault, and violence.
The road to mental health awareness begins with removing stigma and shame and replacing it with love, support, patience, kindness, reassurance, celebrating growth, educating yourself, looking for the signs and remembering to take care of yourself too. You can’t always be sure of what someone’s going through, but even checking in regularly might save a life.
